Outside Therapy is an in-network provider for most major insurance plans in Wyoming, including:
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Cigna
Aetna
UnitedHealthcare
Tricare (for veterans through Stag & Cross Outdoors partnership)
Medicaid and other state programs
If your plan isn’t listed, we can often bill out-of-network or help you submit for reimbursement. Our administrative team can verify benefits before your first session so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
We’re a leading EAP provider for several Wyoming employers.
If your employer offers an EAP, you may qualify for a set number of covered counseling sessions at no cost to you.
EAP sessions are ideal for:
Managing work-related stress or burnout
Navigating family or relationship challenges
Processing major life transitions
We’ll handle the coordination directly with your EAP provider — all you need to do is schedule.


Private pay offers full privacy and flexibility without the constraints of insurance coverage or diagnosis codes.
It’s often the preferred option for:
Outdoor & Adventure Therapy (not billable to insurance)
Court-ordered or legal services
Coaching and consulting sessions
Clients who value confidentiality and direct access
Private pay also allows you to:
Schedule longer or less frequent sessions
Choose specialized or non-traditional therapy approaches
Avoid diagnostic labeling in your medical record
Rates vary depending on provider type and service:
Individual Counseling: $150 per 50-minute session
Couples or Family Counseling: $175 per 60-minute session
Court-ordered or assessment services: Priced per evaluation
Outdoor & Adventure Therapy: Private pay only — rates vary by session length and location

Cash or check (for in-person sessions)
Payments are securely processed through our client portal or in person at the time of service.
We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations with less than 24-hour notice or missed appointments may be subject to a late-cancellation fee equal to the session rate.
This policy ensures we can reserve time for every client who needs care.
